Description:
Almaça was a former Portuguese parish in the municipality of Mortágua, in the district of Viseu. Despite administrative reorganization, it remains a historical, cultural, and identity reference in local memory. Its patron saint was Saint Isidore. The area indicated in the heraldic base is 7.42 km². The coat of arms and flag help to preserve the symbols, memory, and historical continuity of the territory.
