Cortiçô was an old parish in the municipality of Fornos de Algodres, in the district of Guarda, corresponding to the village that served as the headquarters of the former administrative territory.
In 2011, the locality registered 144 inhabitants and an area of 5.02 km², data that help to frame the territorial and demographic dimension of the former territory.
Has a patron saint. The area indicated in the heraldic base is 5.02 km². The coat of arms and flag help to preserve historical memory and local identity.
