In 2011, the locality registered 885 inhabitants and an area of 15.82 km², values that help to frame the dimension of the old territory.

Tôr corresponded to the village that gave the headquarters of the former administrative territory, still maintaining historical and identity value in the local memory.

It was still a patron saint Rita de Cássia. The area indicated in the heraldic base is 14.8 km². The coat of arms and the flag help to preserve the historical memory and identity associated with this former territory.
