Vairão was a former Portuguese parish in the municipality of Vila do Cande, in the district of Porto. Despite administrative reorganization, it remains a historical, cultural, and identity reference in local memory. Its patron saint was the Divine Savior. The area indicated in the heraldic base is 4.3 km². The coat of arms and flag help to preserve the symbols, memory, and historical continuity of the territory.
