Description:
Benafim was an old parish in the municipality of Loulé, in the district of Faro.
In 2011, the locality registered 1,069 inhabitants and an area of 52.69 km², values that help to frame the Dimension of the old territory.
Benafim corresponded to the village that gave rise to the former administrative territory, still maintaining historical and identity value in the local memory.
